People sometimes ask a question about the lyrics. Mostly it's wondering what song a remembered phrase came from, asking about compilation albums not listed here, or asking what a phrase or passage might mean. Sometimes, just sometimes, I get a question that makes me shake my head in an altogether different manner. Here are some of them, suitably anonymous. These are paraphrased but all true, I promise.

"Do you know what the song title is of a Moody Blues track which I've forgotten the words to?"

Question:: "Please can you tell me what the words are to 'The Voyage?'

Answer: "It's an instrumental."

Question: "Yes, but what are the words?"

Answer: "Sorry, can't help you."

Comment: "I am so annoyed that your lyrics site, like every other one, never has the poetry on the end of 'Night In White Satin' like they always play on the radio here."

Response:: "It's the following track. Here, it follows immediately after 'Nights In White Satin' by a line break."

Comment: "Well they play a different version of it here, where it's all part of it."

"Hey I really like your site, it's great and has got all the lyrics! But could I ask you not to put the lyrics into tables like that because it makes it harder for me to cut and paste them into my own site. It would save me a lot of time if you could send me all your master pages in Word format."
